Well another Summer has come and gone without us noticing it!!

 

 Halloween will soon be upon us and the gales are already here. But never fear, our fearless fishermen are out in all weathers to keep us supplied and we need the Great British public to put the efforts of their endeavours on their plates.

 

 We only expect to buy the freshest fish which is then ideal to freeze so that it can be taken out and used when unexpected guests arrive.

 

We are still sending lots of fish to London and some of the best fishmongers are our customers.

 

We now have our own cold smoked fish--the salmon has been very well received and also the smoked sardines.

 

We still have our vans for delivery to your door or the use of the couriers for an overnight delivery.

 

The Harbour in Newlyn is going through a period of change and some of the upgrades are coming soon.

Regular or new visitors will be wondering why we do not put prices here, but as they can vary so much from day to day, we have decided that it is fairer to price your requirements on the day of purchase.

 

Situated in the heart of Cornwall's fishing industry, family run Newlyn Fish Company, Joe, Jill, Martin, Peter and team have been serving the freshest Cornish Fish to it's customers for over 25 years.

 

A typical day at Newlyn Fish starts at 6am with Peter fast footing it down to the market with their other buyer Phil, ready to select the best supplies each day.  Meanwhile, Joe and Martin are back at the store. taking orders and also sourcing from other local ports in order to make sure that we can supply all our customers. large and small.  It's a hive of activity!

 

Within minutes, the catches are transported from the quayside to a purpose built processing unit where it is expertly prepared and packed, ready to be distributed throughout the UK.  The fish leaves in pristine condition by overnight transport to a wide range of destinations; Private Addresses,  Deli's and Catering establishments and fishmongers, (many of them in London) not forgetting being tightly packed on ice into two local home delivery vans which serve customers door to door around the Cornish coast from the Lands End to the Lizard each week.
