Situated in the heart of Cornwall’s fishing industry, family run Newlyn Fish Company, Jill, Joe, Martin & Peter have been serving the freshest Cornish Fish to it’s customers for 25 years.  

 “Quality has got to come first, followed very closely by careful handling and preparation.  It is most definitely the hardest thing to get ‘right but we will always do our best!. 

Newlyn Fish pride themselves on buying the best catches daily from the market, this combined with fully skilled, professional staff guarantees the finest fresh fish and also our own home smoked products.

A typical day at Newlyn Fish starts at 6am with Peter fast footing it down to the market with their other buyer Phil, ready to select the best supplies each day.   Meanwhile, Joe is on the internet buying off selected boats on the Plymouth Auctions while Martin is con-ordinating  the purchases and emailing, faxing or phoning customers for orders.

 It’s a hive of activity. 

 Fish is transported to the purpose built processing unit where it is skilfully prepared and despatched by overnight transport to a wide range of destinations; Fishmongers, Deli’s and catering establishments, not forgetting being tightly packed on ice into their two local home delivery vans who serve customers door to door around the coast from the Lands End to the Lizard each week.

In order to keep abreast of new trends, Newlyn Fish have expandedt their already thriving business into the world of Mail Order, making their finest fish available to every household throughout the British Isles.

Nothing is too much trouble for anyone at Newlyn Fish, and the fish, well, that’s, second to none, it’s so fresh.
